This course provides both a thematic and geographical overview of the relationships the European Union maintains with the rest of the world and Europe's global role. The format follows a talk-show style, featuring a moderator and two national or international experts discussing the topic with participants. Sessions are conducted in both Italian and English.
From a thematic perspective, the course addresses issues such as migration, digitalization, the environment, minority protection, and conflict resolution. Geographically, it explores the EU's relations with Africa, the Balkans, Russia, the Middle East, Latin America, and the role of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region within the European context.
